مؤشر S-RoC صممه فريد جى سكوتزمان و قدمه فى كتاب A. Elder’s book Trading for a Living. هذا المؤشر معدل من مؤشر Roc: S-Roc مبنى على مقارنة بين متوسطين متحركين.
S-RoC = EMA(N)/EMA(N — K)*100, where
N – number of periods;
K – smoothing factor.
يعتبر من أبسط المؤشرات فى التحليل الفنى. من السهل إستخدامه حيث يوفر إشارات رائعة يمكن إستخدامها و تطبيقها على حركة السعر الإنعكاسية. فى هذا الصدد، هذا المؤشر مناسب للإستراتيجيات الإنعكاسية أكثر من التى تتبع ترندا محددا حيث يكون المؤشر إشارات خاطئة خلال وجود ترند قوى.
إذا تسارعت حركة المؤشر، يدل على نمو الأسعار. بالتالى، إذا تداول عكس ذلك، فإن وتيرة نمو السعر فى تراجع. فى حالة عكس المؤشر حركته، ستكون هناك احتمالية لتغير الترند.
بالتالى، يساعد المؤشر فى تحديد الميول الرئيسية للصعود و الهبوط فى السوق. فى هذا الصدد، يمكن إستخدام المؤشر فى الدلالة على إتجاه الترند طويل الأجل للتداول.
